Outlook.com is moving to Office 365 Exchange Online servers and it looks like your account has been migrated. Please login with a web browser and look at the upper left, if it says "Outlook Mail" or "Outlook Email", you've been moved to the new servers. Please see:

Outlook.com migration changes; What do I need to know and do?
Reconnect Outlook 2016 or Outlook 2013 to Outlook.com to fix issues after Outlook.com upgrade
When I log in it says Outlook Mail. I've followed the directions to remove and add back the account, and that's how I got into this situation (with none of my calendar entries synching, except one from 2014).
So that's really my question: Now that I've followed all the directions properly, and it still doesn't work, what I do I do know to fix it so it does work?
Thanks for any assistance.
UPDATED: And to be clear: I even created a new Profile, just to test this, and the same thing happened: It is stuck on "UPDATING Calendar." after the first appointment was added, and it added no others.

Depending on the amount of data it can sometimes take a while to sync
PS There's no point adding to another post that has no relevance to your problem

I waited a number of weeks for the synching to occur before pursuing assistance here.
